The trip was without any problem and it feels good to be at Schiphol airport. Shall be here untill 17.40 tonight, and then it is take off to Valencia. It was no problem for the dogs to come in to this country, The control just checked their passport so they had rabies vacinations and blodtests that proofs they have enough anti rabies in their bodies. So everything was okey for them!

I had a wonderful sallad here when we arrived early this morning, prefere this food instead of the Philippines…

Now some work on the computer and after that siesta on a bench with the dogs as my bodygards, he he. I am so tired…

Today 14 o´clock I had all the documents I need to take out the dogs out from Manila tonight. I am totally exhausted now and just want to leave. When we went to the airport to the BAI Quarantaine this morning to dubbelcheck the dogs document they gave us in Davao, they said we need more documents. If i didn´t got them the dogs couldn´t fly with us tonight. So had to go through the city Manila in a taxi, took us 4 hours back and forth. Some million people living here! Got all the papers at last so leave Manila at 21 with KLM to Amsterdam this evening. We arrive Amsterdam tomorrow at 7 in the morning. Looking forward to it! Hope i get some hours sleep on this LONG trip!

Tomorrow sunday we shall go to the airport and see if they know which flights on monday that takes animals in the airplanes. If we get an answer we will buy the tickets with philippine airlines from Davao-Manila. It takes 3,5 hours back and fourth to the airport from our apartment here at Samal. But we will have some time to fix the luggages, give away the things we don´t want to have with us to Spain and at 18 o´clock I will have a massage in the apartment. So hope the day will be nice even if we spend a lot of time on the motorcykle, fairy and taxi to the airport.

This friday we also had to go to the airport to get the permision to take the dogs from Davao-Manila. Without that document they don´t take the dogs. It was a nice lady who gave me the document and she also said she will fix the permision so we can go from Davao to Spain. We need that document so the KLM aircraft takes the dogs on the aircraft to Amsterdam on tuesday evening when we shall leave. I hope she holds what she has promised. She talked to a special veterinary at the airport and he said it was okey so now i hope for the best. I will get it monday morning at the airport before take off. If not we will have big problems finding the right Quarantaine place in Manila when we arrive. Have to take a taxi and pass through the whole Manila to go to the right company. And there is some millions of people living there and it´s crowded with cars, small buses and tricycles everywhere so it would take us some hours one way.

I don´t recomend anyone to bring dogs here. So bad information and the BAI Quarantine office have so many people and they don´t say the same things. And when you send mail to them they don´t answer or they promise one thing and then they don´t do it. So strange and this is a VERY big company. Also after we got all the documents we needed we had to get a water stamp in another corner there and when we came one person was sleeping in the sofa, one was laying with the arms over the desk sleeping and the other lady was just relaxing. What a place!!!

I am never coming back to this country, had enough with all the bureaucracy!

Today we had to go to the immigration to get a new visa. They also wanted us to pay for a ACR card but we said NO. Why pay for something that we can´t have since we are in Europe then. It´s like an Philippin id. It takes some weeks for them to make them and when it is ready to be picked up we are in Spain. That card costs a lot of money and we didn´t want to pay for that so they had to take it away from our application so we had to wait nearly 4 hours to get the stamp in our passports.

I also need permission to take the dogs out from the Philippines so went to the Quarantine in Davao and that man said we have to go to Manila to get the permission from Manila to Amsterdam. Very strange since i had contact with them in Manila and they will send the permision to me by mail. It is very good when people can their work and don´t give the custumers wrong information as the man did in Davao. That man shall not work in that office!

After we took a taxi to the airport because i need another permission to take the dogs from Davao to Manila. So had to go to another Quarantine office at the airport. After a while i found a woman at the airport and she will fix that paper untill friday so i can pick it up. Without that paper the dogs can´t go to Manila.

Also i asked about airplane tickets for the dogs at the company Philippine airlines. And they can´t make reservations for dogs on the flights because they don´t know which airplanes they use that day, and all airplane is not built for animals. So we have to go to Davao airport on monday morning and wait there untill they have a flight that takes dogs. Very strange!!! So now we have to leave on monday to be sure we will be in Manila for tuesday evening for the take of to Amsterdam. We will spend one night there at the same B&B as when we arrived 7th of november.

I am very tired of this country and it feels so good to leave.

Tomorrow we have to go to a special veterinary and let that person check the dogs. I am not sure they will let us in to Amsterdam without seeing that veterinary. Also the veterinary need to fill in a special english document and i don´t know where to find it on internet.

I have spent so many hours in front of the computer and internet to get all things in order. It is so much to think about when you have dogs with you on trips to countries far away and to other continents! I will never do it again. It´s to much work and it makes me worry a lot.

Well well, i hope everything will work out fine with the dogs for this trips back home to Spain.

Now time for dinner!

At christmas the 24th i didn´t feel well in the afternoon, i thought it was a normal cold with high fever. I slept more or less in 48 hours. After that i havn´t felt good so today i went to the hospital and they took some tests and the doctor said i got “dengue fever”. The tests were not good so shall be back at 8 o´clock tomorrow morning and is it worse i have to stay at the hospital for a while. The dengue fever comes from a mosqito and it is a bad disease. Hope i get well soon. Today i am totally exhausted even if you can´t see that on the picture.
